From Open Doors Resale Store

On behalf of Open Doors Resale Store, thank you for your support. This month we will be distributing $60,000 to our local agencies, bringing the total amount in the past four years to over $300,000! As we begin the seasonal transition (summer to fall), we will be closing the store on Monday, August 7, for the day. We will use this time to clean, refresh and redecorate the store. The store will return to regular business hours on Tuesday, August 8. Please share this information with your church by posting on your website, and including it in your bulletin and newsletter. Thank you!

Young Clergy Initiative Grant Awarded to QuadW Missional Internship

The General Board of Higher Education and Ministry has awarded the QuadW Missional Internship a $60,000 "Young Clergy Initiative" grant. AWF Conference Launches Resource Page

"Where do I click?" "I can't find the forms." "Can the conference office help me with this?" These are common questions the staff of the Alabama-West Florida Conference hears often. As a result of feedback from clergy and laity, a dedicated Resource page is now live on the Website. By visiting, Web users will find resources ranging from forms to videos to tools and much more. "This is a significant new offering in our conference," said Rev. Nancy Watson, Director of Connectional Ministries. "Our conference staff's primary goal is to serve our 600 churches. This will enable churches to better find what they need in less time. I am thankful to the staff for recognizing the need and implementing the design and functionality of the page." Full story here
