New Semester Begins for Students at USA Wesley Foundation

As a new semester begins, the USA Wesley Foundation wants to continue the tradition of providing meals each Tuesday night. We are seeking volunteers to help provide this meal each week.  This is an important time in the lives of these young students and what a great opportunity for you to show hospitality and get to know them as they grow in their relationship with Christ!  They expect to feed approximately 40 folks each week. Wesley will have paper products and drinks so you only need the meal... but be sure to include a dessert – we are talking about college students you know.  :-)  You are welcome to stay and eat with the students or you may simply drop off the food at the Wesley Foundation by 5:30pm. This could be a great project for your Sunday School Class or a small group within your church.

Christ UMC to Host Bible Conference - August 27-28

It’s time for us to get excited about the incredible gift we have: The Bible. Knowing and understanding the scriptures not only helps us form our beliefs, through it, we also hear the voice of God challenging us to live lives of faithfulness in our world.

The Rev. Jessica LaGrone, our guest speaker and author of The Miracles of Jesus, will preach in all three services to kick off our Bible Conference. She will leads us in a captivating exploration of the miracles of Jesus.

Means of Grace | Day Apart for Spiritual Formation is a two year program which offers a day apart every quarter where the participants will learn about John Wesley’s means of grace and their potential for spiritual transformation. The leadership team for this program has heard the call to co-labor with God and the local church in making of disciples for the transformation of the world.
