From Inner City Mission
Inner City Mission is in need of a volunteer with electrical experience, preferably a licensed electrician, to walk through our building to determine if there are any electrical issues and help correct any problems that may be found. The Mission will be very grateful for any help you can offer to prevent problems and keep us safe! Please contact Bob McBride at (251) 767-7526 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
From Dumas Wesley Community Center
It’s that time again! We are excited for our children to experience Mother Nature at her finest at the United Methodist Church’s Blue Lake Camp Discovery in Andalusia, Alabama. We are expecting around 20 children to attend and are delighted that our youth will have a chance to enjoy nature and outdoor challenges as well as worship, authentic relationships and memorable learning experiences.
The cost of camp this year is $180.00 per child and we hope you will prayerfully consider a gift to help underwrite this program. Your sponsorship will allow children to take a break from the challenges of everyday life and, for some, enjoy their first camp experience!
It is our fervent desire that no child is denied a camp experience due to financial lack. Your support is important to us. Your prayers are treasured. Your help is greatly appreciated in whatever way it is given.
