This week’s news...........
Imagine No Malaria Success!
The Mobile District has reached and exceeded our goal to save 10,000 lives through Imagine No Malaria (106%). This success is the result of sacrificial giving on the part of many churches. I know that this effort was not part of most church budgets and for many people these gifts were above and beyond regular giving to their home church. I want you to know how much I appreciate your efforts. My friend Issac Kyambadde, who is a DS and pastor in Uganda, says that this program has opened doors in many communities for new United Methodist churches to be started because of the credibility that Imagine No Malaria has won among the chiefs and elders of these villages. Thank you for your partnership in saving lives and saving souls!
For those who are still raising funds, please continue to give toward this worthy cause. The Alabama West Florida Conference as a whole is at 93.9% of our goal to save 100,000 lives. Please check the below to be certain your givings have been correctly posted.
